Archives Gallery

I've spent years collecting art locally, artists I've found online, artists I've loved since I was a kid, and art from my travels — pieces that resonate with me but that most people will never see because they're tucked away in storage, unknown, or simply forgotten. At this point, I don't have enough wall space in my lifetime to display everything I've collected. This gallery exists to change that.

It started with my mentor, James Canfield (Binky Studio), a printmaker who taught me screen printing in high school. When he passed, I made sure his complete body of work didn't disappear. Now I'm expanding that mission to other artists whose work deserves to be seen.

This isn't a traditional gallery. It's an archive. A preservation project. Some pieces are for sale, others aren't. What matters is that the work gets out into the world.

Welcome to the collection.

The Archive

Below you'll find individual galleries for each artist in my collection. Some have multiple pieces, others just one. Always adding more as I go.

Currently On Display - James Canfield II

This exhibition brings together Canfield's work across multiple collections, mediums, and scales—from intimate 12-inch lithographs to commanding 6-foot canvases. The varied formats capture his restless creative energy and willingness to experiment, with each piece carrying his signature blend of provocative imagery and cultural commentary.

Art Saves Lives Collection - James Canfield II

Between 2002 and 2004, James Canfield created a series of politically charged lithographs that blend pop art aesthetics with pointed social commentary. Working with clip art-inspired imagery, he transformed familiar visuals into subversive statements on American culture and personal freedom. Pieces like "Art Saves Lives," "Ban the Bomb," and "I Believe in Free Will" showcase his ability to pair bold graphics with layered meanings—sometimes humorous, sometimes confrontational, always deliberate. Each piece is a numbered edition lithograph, hand-pulled, signed, and dated by Canfield.

Additional Works - James Canfield II

This collection features various lithographs and mixed media pieces from throughout Canfield's career, spanning different sizes, techniques, and subjects. These works showcase his experimental approach and unwillingness to be confined by a single style or format. From small-scale prints to larger pieces, each demonstrates his commitment to bold imagery and cultural commentary that defined his artistic voice.
